Full Description
semi-automatic 17 hmr. all metal pretty much stainless steel construction including barrel, bolt, and trigger assembly. over shround is aluminum.
modified the stock with cushioned camo.
the design wont allow to safely fire hollowpoints as the tips can catch on the edge of the chaber and push the bullet into the case. i usually fire it single shot, automatically ejecting with empty magazine in to hold bolt open so i can load again fairly quickly.
will shoot the vmax bullets without that issue but not 100 percent reliable.
and as with even bolt actions sometimes you get a blown out rim. this is the fault of the ammo makers cause they make the cases too soft
just being up front about the rifle.
it is really accurate. as accurate as any other 17 hmr. even shot a group at 300 yards with some decent hold over (cant remember the exact amount) and they all went into 3 1/2 inches believe it or not.
